Totes du Jour
Totes du Jour (TDJ) is an ongoing photographic and archival project exploring the tote bag as both object and gesture — a daily artefact that reflects identity, movement, and culture. Each work in this collection forms part of the MAWs TDJ archive, documenting the tote as found, observed, and reinterpreted through image, text, and material form.
This collection includes the Tote du Jour Vol. 1 limited-edition photography book, selected prints, and collectible objects produced in small series. Every item contributes to the broader Totes du Jour archive, where the everyday becomes a record of shared gestures and visual language.
Printed and bound in France, Totes du Jour editions are produced with careful attention to craft, material, and context. Each edition is limited and numbered, offering collectors a tangible fragment of the ongoing Totes du Jour project — a living archive of contemporary culture through the lens of the tote.
